I had the pleasure of fishing with Scott and Laura Johnson. They were traveling from Maryland on vacation and wanted to get out and experience Lake Toho Bass Fishing. We had an incredible day on the water and they really know how to catch them.
The shiner bite was strong right off the bat in the morning. As the day went on, the artificial bite picked up. Wild-caught shiners were the most effective technique to catch these bass. The artificial lures that worked the best were a watermelon red Senko.
Scott and Laura caught a total of 24 largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed 5 pounds. It was a great time watching this amazing couple catch bass after bass, really enjoying their time together. I am looking forward to the next time we get to do this again.
