Capt Wayne With The Lake Ida Fishing Report
Good afternoon this is Capt Wayne with your south Florida fishing report.
I’m just getting off the water at Lake Ida.
I fished with a great bunch of guys Chris, Robert and Dave they were really fun to hang out with and great fishermen.
Today in morning we had cool and cloudy conditions, turning into warm and sunny conditions in the afternoon.
We were able to get quite a few fish, it started off kind of slow, but we were able to get a good bite as the day progressed.
the peacock bite was really good, everyone was able to catch a couple decent fish, the peacocks were well over 3 pounds and we had a couple 5 pound large mouth bass.
The bite is great so Come on out and let’s go catch some fish, for all your Florida Freshwater fishing adventures go to BassOnline, Good luck and tight lines.

I was born and raised in South Florida. Started fishing at the age of 4 years old and catching my first fish at 5 (a 10 lb grouper). Like most people I’ve had some real ups and downs in my life but my love for fishing and being on the water has always played a major role in my life. Whether it’s trolling miles offshore or bottom fishing on the reef I enjoy sharing my knowledge, my passion and the experience of fishing with others. We will do everything in our power to make this the best adventure your and your party will ever experience.
