Bass Fishing Father And Daughter Team On Okeechobee

Bass Fishing Father And Daughter Team On Okeechobee

How’s everybody doing this is Capt Brian Brown with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report. Today we are down on the south end of the lake out of Slims Fish camp, and I was joined by Tim and his Daughter Maddy. We went out and enjoyed a beautiful 6 hours this morning out on the water, the weather was a little cool to start with and man we had a heavy northeast wind blowing, the weather channel said 7 to 9 miles an hour and it was more like 27 to 30 mile an hour range but we managed to find a couple spots out of the wind. We hunkered down with some shiners, and we had a pretty successful day out there, each caught a decent fish. Tim caught a 4 1/2 pounder and Maddy had herself a nice 5 1/2 pound fish. everybody enjoyed the day we caught a bunch of other fish along with those. we even had a turtle in the boat, we thought we had a big giant one on until we got it up, it was interesting kind of had a multi-species day but it was great to see a father and daughter bond together out on the water, and enjoy each others company and to be part of that. If you have kids, and just want to get out on the water, and do some family bonding its a great thing to do and it creates some awesome memories, if your looking to come down and get a child involved in fishing we can certainly set you guys up and hopefully get you guys a trip of a life time, get a hold of us here at Bassonline and tight lines until next time this is Capt Brian Brown looking to stretch a line with you.
