25 Year Anniversary Fishing

I had the pleasure of fishing with great friends of mine, Jenny and Troy. They are true Minnesota people fishing on Lake Okeechobee with a major cold front. 35 degree weather was nothing to them and they came out with sandals while I was buttoned up.

We fished out of Okeechobee City and picked up our wild shiners from Garrads Bait and Tackle. The bite was slower but once the sun came out the action picked up. They started to see the quality they were hoping for.

Jenny was hoping she would catch her personal best largemouth bass and she most certainly did. She caught a bass weighing 8.5 pounds. Nothing beats the look on your friends face when they catch a beast like that.

It was a great time with some great friends on Lake Okeechobee today. We love to create memories like this here at Bass Online. Bring your loved ones down and come experience what the lake has to offer on a fishing trip of a lifetime!
