Peacock Bass Fishing Mission

South Florida is home to some of the BEST bodies of water to fish on. Lake Ida is in the heart of an urban community that is filled with great bass fishing. A Peacock Bass Fishing Mission took place and we had a blast.

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Jose, Javier, and Carlos. They were determined to catch the quality peacocks that roam the freshwaters.

Along our journey to catch peacock bass, we caught a variety of other fish. These gentlemen caught 40 peacock bass with a mayan cichlid and a catfish. The largest peacock bass weighed 4 pounds, which is a quality peacock bass.

They had an awesome trip and are looking forward to fishing for these hard fighting peacock bass again. They love them.
