Peacock Bass Fishing Hunt in Palm Beach County on Lake Ida

Peacock Bass Fishing Hunt

Peacock Bass are the hardest fighting species of bass. South Florida is home to many species of bass but this exotic is the most exciting. Come enjoy a Peacock Bass Fishing Hunt while fishing on the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Marc and Kevin. One of the many things they wanted to experience while visiting Florida was peacock bass fishing and we made it happen.

The bite was slightly off on this trip since it was raining and windy. In between the weather, we were able to put some great numbers in the boat.

Marc and Kevin caught close to 30 fish weighing up to 2 pounds. One of the things they were impressed with the most, was the fight the Florida peacock bass can put up. It is like no other bass species in the states.

We had a great day out on the water. I am looking forward to fishing with these guys again in the future. When they come back, we will continue to make more memories, one fish at a time!
