Okeechobee Artificial Bass Fishing
Quality largemouth bass can be caught on Lake Okeechobee all year round. Okeechobee Artificial Bass Fishing has been an incredible experience this season.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Vicki and her son Phelps. Phelps did most of the fishing while Vicki enjoyed the nature and adventure fishing.
They were traveling from Illinois for the Florida Bass Fishing. Artificial baits such as swim jigs, chatter baits, and worms have been productive baits to throw.
Phelps caught his two personal bests this trip. His first one weighed 4 pounds 8 ounces which he caught on a Bass Assassin “Fat-Job.” On his very last cast with a swimming job, he caught a largemouth bass weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces.
It is always a pleasure to teach an inspiring angler a little bit more about the sport. We had a blast and I am looking forward to fishing with him again.
