New Years Bass Fishing
Happy New Year to all our readers. 2019 is going to be a great year for bass fishing especially here in Central Florida. Come enjoy a New Years’ bass fishing charter next time you are visiting. You never know what is going to bite the end of your line.
Lake Toho Bass Fishing is starting to pick up. Weather and water temperatures are getting just right to entice largemouth bass to feed and spawn. Now until April are going to be prime months to catch a trophy largemouth. Our local experts know all the techniques from live to artificial baits to get you on the bass of your lifetime.
Captain John Leech had the pleasure of fishing with Mike Watson. Mike wanted to go out on a solo fishing adventure here on Lake Toho. His main goal was to catch some quality largemouth bass in his 4-hour fishing trip. Luckily, everything lined up for him and it was a great day on the water.
Lake Toho was produced on this fishing trip. The bass was biting. Mike caught some big numbers on this trip out mainly using live bait. The giants were not coming out to play but Mike caught fish weighing up to 3.5 pounds.
Mike was a Florida Gators fan which was nice. Captain John got the chance to talk football and bond over it. Mike is looking forward to getting back out in search of that giant trophy largemouth bass.
Then Capt Devin Turn
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Devin adventured out on Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of fishing with Ron and his son Alex. It was another quick 4-hour fishing trip with a lot of quality action. Whenever you have young anglers on the boat, it is always nice to keep them busy.
Weather conditions were not as cooperative but we managed to catch some great numbers. Ron and Alex landed over 27 bass with the largest weighing 4.5 pounds. Alex caught this bass and it was his personal best, according to Captain Brent. One of the greatest rewards for a captain is putting your client on his biggest fish of any species.
Ron and Alex are looking forward to their next opportunity to catch big bass here in Florida!
