MLB Peacock Bass Fishing Charter

MLB Peacock Bass Fishing Charter

Peacock Bass is an exotic species of Bass that are king in South Florida. Florida Fishing is a great way to experience something unique like an MLB Peacock Bass Fishing Charter.

I had the pleasure to fish with Eric and Zach Duke, an MLB pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. This was their first time fishing for peacock bass and they had to come on a two-day charter with us.

Lake Ida has been a wonderful location to experience a peacock bass fishing trip. It is close to the shores and beaches of Palm Beach making it a perfect location to catch the peacock of your dreams.

The bite was aggressive to start the day. Early mornings and late afternoons in the summer are the times to key in on when the weather gets hot.

Zach and Eric caught over 80 fish for both days. The numbers are up for the peacocks as they are tropical fish that love the warmth. Most of the peacocks caught ranged from 2 to 3 pounds. They put on a great fight.

We had a fantastic trip and I am looking forward to fishing with them again when Zach is down during Spring Training next year.
