Ocheesee Pond is a cypress-filled freshwater lake in Jackson County, Florida, south of U.S. Highway 90 near Grand Ridge and Sneads. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission describes Ocheesee as a 2,225-acre lake with dark, tannic water and cypress trees covering much of the pond. Its flooded timber, stumps, snags, weed lines and deeper holes create a distinctive Panhandle fishery.

FWC lists largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, black crappie and chain pickerel among the popular sport fish found in Ocheesee Pond. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, dark plastic worms and live shiners are among the baits FWC recommends for bass.
