Florida Fishing Ledges for Peacock Bass in Naples

Florida Fishing Ledges

The Southern Part of Florida holds many freshwater species that you can catch. Florida Fishing Ledges is incredible this time of year for Peacock Bass. Naples is a great place to visit to experience what Florida Bass Fishing has to offer.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Woody and his wife Kim. They were coming over to Naples, Florida to fish the Golden Gate Canals. We experienced Cold Front Effects on this trip but that didn’t stop us from catching multiple quality bass.

Our main focus was ledges and structure in the 8 to 10 foot range. Pitching wild caught shiners on these ledges allowed for a great bite. We also trolled shiners along them as well.

Woody and Kim caught several quality peacock bass. Most were in the 3 pound range. As the day warmed up, the bite got stronger.

On this fishing trip, the water temperature was 68. I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. Don’t miss out on your Naples Bass Fishing trip next time visiting the state!
