Fishing adventures on Lake Okeechobee
Captain Mark Shepard here with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report. Well, folks, it’s getting to be that time of year when the Largemouth Bass start coming to the grass for feeding before they spawn. This is my favorite time of year, when the days start out cool, then it warms up to be a beautiful sunny day . Bass fishing is going to be strong, so if you haven’t fished Okeechobee, now is the time. I was out on the water today with Jim Robertson, a long-time client. Getting out there, field testing a little bit, and had a super day. We got a great number with good quality, and the bite was really, really nice. Looking forward to the next fishing adventures ahead out on Lake Okeechobee.
