Fall Trophy Smallmouth Bass Fishing

Fall Trophy Smallmouth Bass Fishing

When it comes to Smallmouth Bass Fishing, Lake Erie is the place to visit. Pennsylvania is home to some incredible Fall Trophy Smallmouth Bass Fishing.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Jerry and his son Jason. They were traveling from Fredericksburg, Virginia for some of the action here on the Lake.

We went on a three-day fishing adventure out of Presque Isle Bay. On the first day, the wind was blowing hard. It allowed fishing in the bay only. We caught about 30 largemouth bass there and had a blast with shallow diving crankbaits.

The next 2 days were what they traveled here for. Smallmouth Bass Fishing on the lake has been incredible. They caught over 100 bass in the two days.

Jerry caught the biggest fish weighing 5 pounds 12 ounces. His son also had a monster catch with a bass weighing 5 pounds 8 ounces. It was a day filled with trophy smallmouth bass.

Spinnerbaits and ned rigs were highly effective in the 8 to 10-foot range. As long as the days stay sunny and clear with a light breeze, the smallmouth will feed.

They are preparing for the winter months coming very soon. We are looking forward to fishing with them again in the future for another amazing fishing adventure.
