Our local expert and Captain Steve had the pleasure of fishing with Harold and Jimmy. They wanted to change things up today and head up to the Harris Chain of Lakes. FWC made the fishing tougher than normal as they were spraying the lake to prevent grass growth. They fished the lake hard and found several quality largemouth bass.

Bass fishing on the Harris Chain of Lakes focuses in on underwater springs and clear water. The bass were blowing up on the shiners making for an exciting day on the water. It was a lot of fun for Harold and Jimmy to experience this for 6 hours. The fishing conditions were perfect and the weather was nice.

Jimmy caught the first bass along with 3 bowfins. They are fun to catch as they pull and fight hard. After picking away at some decent fish, Captain Steve made a move. Jimmy caught a gar at their next spot while Harold was looking to catch that big bass. Shortly after this, Harold gets hooked up to something of quality. He brought in a 4-pound largemouth bass making his day. Right after that, he also landed a nice 2-pound bass.
