“We want to thank you for helping us out and answering all our questions. We dumped another Orlando guide service because of a lack of professionalism and communication. However, we felt after talking with your service, you were the right outfit for us. My instinct paid off, and as an intermediate angler and my wife, who is considered a novice, we could not have asked for more. 

We paid our deposit online, which was so easy and safe, as I worry about that these days. After that, the office sent us a direct link to get our fishing license, and we were good to go for our bass fishing trip.

The day ended with poor weather, and I really thought it would hinder our trip. An unexpectedly strong storm had come in the morning of our charter. However, our guide, Capt John Leech, was still committed to putting us on fish. Capt John delivered and is a fantastic Orlando bass fishing guide for so many reasons. I clearly could not do this job, and on this day, the task was much more complex. Capt John put us on so many fish; he almost couldn’t believe it. As with fishing, we missed several that we hope to catch on a future date. 

Current Activities

But today, we both caught our personal best largemouth bass. My wife saw a 10lb trophy bass to brag about, but fishing is cyclical, and I understood opportunity was still available. An hour later, I caught my best bass by about 10.5lbs, and my wife got another around 8lbs.

I have been around for a while; I am now 70 years young. What I have learned in life is that what you see and hear is generally what you will get. Meaning if you aren’t satisfied with talking with someone during a reservation, you can’t expect the fishing trip to get any better. Look at the whole process: sub-par service will lead to a sub-par fishing day. This speaks volumes about what these guys at Bass Online can do for you. Simply put, I could not express enough thanks to the entire TEAM for our fishing charter. Do not even consider selecting another guide in Central Florida; my investment, experience, and memories are irreplaceable, and at this age, that’s saying something!

Unbelievable fishing trip! The action started early and didn’t let up. Our captain knew all the honey holes and kept the mood light with great conversation and fishing tips. We boated several solid bass and even a surprise tarpon. Everything from the gear to the boat was in perfect shape. My son had an incredible time fishing with Capt. Devin this morning! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. We caught so many fish, including an impressive 8 lb bass! Capt. I booked a last minute trip with John Leech and very happy I did! Even in tough fishing conditions and a 100 plus boat tournament happening on the lake he still was able to put us on fish. Had a great time fishing and an even better time talking to John!

5 star rating My wife had a business trip in the Orlando area so I tagged along and scheduled a trip with Capt. John Leech in late January hoping to catch some big pre spawn bass on Lake Toho. A big cold front came through the day before our trip so the potential for a tough day was there. With the expert help of Capt. John, and despite the very cool conditions, we were able to catch fish all day long! We caught a lot in the 2-4 pound range with a couple of 5 pounders and one that went 6.32 for big fish of the day. It was an excellent day and John was wonderful company! I Highly recommend Capt. John Leech if you are looking for a person who flat knows where they are and how to catch them! By the way this is my second trip to Florida in the past year. I have booked through bassonline.com both times one on Okeechobee and then this trip to Toho. The trips were professional and exactly what I asked for and paid for each time. Book with confidence!

Visiting for the 4th of Dec at my fiancés parents house. They hired Bass Online and we went fishing on the lake and had a excellent time. The fish were plentiful and easy to catch, there are nice size bass and crappies. The water is very refreshing and clean. While fishing, you see many people just run there boats out in the lake. The scenery from the water is beautiful especially on a good day. Bring your kids, they will love it!

Bass Fishing with Capt. Dave was one of the fun things we did for our vacation in Orlando area. Caught so many fish I can't keep track of. Our largest catch was more than 5 pounds strong & beautiful bass. Capt. Dave knows the best fishing spots and tricks. Beside learning to bait, cast and reeling we also enjoy the quiet time on the lake.

Just finished an awesome trip with Bass Online on Johns Lake in Orlando. I can't say enough how awesome our guide was. Despite differences in experience between my father and me. Captain was able to provide the perfect amount of coaching for each of us. His expertise is easily demonstrated with a single sentence. He certainly has the experience and the knowledge to provide an amazing trip out fishing. We landed 19 large mouth bass and a few more undesirable fish in a half day. Was recommended from Disney and we Highly recommend this as an activity in Orlando!

What a great morning on Lake Butler! We caught lots of fish - Captain Dave was great with directions both before and during the trip. His boat was very clean and he had all the appropriate equipment. In addition to being professional, he was patient and kind with our 4 year old son. Thanks for making my husband’s 41st birthday a memorable one! We will definitely be back.

I just got back from a 1/2 day morning trip on Johns Lake with Bass Online and it couldn't have been better. I've been with a lot of different guides throughout Canada and Bass Online is the best I have ever used. They are knowledgeable and passionate about every aspect of the fishing trip. Last minute trip to Orlando with my brother who wanted to fish. I told him about Bass Online who used with my 10-year old son in 2013 and had the greatest bass fishing trip of my life (so did my son). We could only get Bass Online for one day, but it oddly gave us an opportunity to compere his guide service with the "competition." Both captains we went out with caught us fish after a brutal cold front. Both were very knowledgeable and had great boats, equipment, etc. But, honestly the comparisons end there. Such a professional company, Bass Online, every time you call someone informative answers. They are serious about bass fishing, but does not impose that upon you. They understand the whole deal is to make sure you have fun. Whether that is with my 10 year old son, or my 45 year old brother. They made both trips ones for the books. Honestly, I fish with guides all over the world for all sorts of stuff. Bass Online is my favorite by a wide margin. Oh, and BTW, we caught 50% more fish day two. Just saying...
