Mid February North Florida Fishing Report- Rodman Reservoir

North Florida Fishing Report

Hey this is Capt Kenneth Walker with your Lake Santa Fe Fishing report.

I had the pleasure to fish with Dan and Brandon today. North Florida always a nice change of scenery when you come to Florida. It provides a different experience that South Florida can not provide. Here is your Mid-February North Florida Fishing Report.

The fishing conditions were a great day with bluebird skies. The temperature outside has been dropping later in the night but always picks up by early to mid-day. The bite has been consistent.

Today was filled with quality fish. We caught around 20 which kept us busy. It is always amazing to have two fish over 6 pounds. it is not every day that you get two fish over 6 pounds in the boat, so we had a great day.

The shiners were the key formula today and our persistence paid off. If you come to Florida and you are blessed enough to go on a fishing trip, use wild-caught shiners to catch the big fish.

I have some opening in March for fishing the Rodman Reservoir and I would advise getting in on the action!!! All of North Florida is heating up as the weather does the same. Hope to see you soon.

Till next time, Tight Lines!!!
