Miami Peacock Bass Fishing In The Blue Lagoon

Hello, this is Capt Robert Miley. I’m getting ready to leave Blue Lagoon.

I guided Keith and his sons, Andrew and Jack, and we had a fantastic day. It started slowly with some small fish, and around 1130 the big fish started biting. Our biggest was about 5 pounds, and we caught 6 fish between 3 and 5 pounds. We saw about 30 altogether, and I thought it was going to be a little slow because it was overcast and it was kind of cool out, the air temp was 70, and about mid-morning, the sun came through, and the bite turned on. We had one big peacock on, and a tarpon ended up hitting it, and we fought the tarpon for a little bit. It was amazing. We got the tarpon up to the side of the boat, and it spit the hook out. If you’re looking to do some peacock bass fishing, give us a call at BassOnline.
