Fishing Lake Istokopoga Weed Edges For Largemouth Bass
Hi this is Captain Mark Rogers and today we were fishing at Lake Istokopoga.
Here is your, Fishing Lake Istokopoga Weed Edges For Largemouth Bass and bullhead catfish, report. It was still a little bit cooler in temps, started out at about 63 degrees. The fishing was kind of slow all day, moved around a bit and caught a fish here and there. Then around 11:30, the water started creeping up to where the fish got a little more active, and we could see more activity around us.
We started to catch a lot more fish here and started working outside edges pitching worms across the cattails and bullrushes. We picked away at them slowly throughout the day. We threw artificial all day and got probably a dozen or so fish, with the biggest 4 pounds. When the water temperature came up, we had a lot more success. In the end, not too bad of a day. Keep searching for those big ones.
