Scott England gave us a great day of bass fishing on Rodman. He lives a mile from the boat ramp! It was fun just asking questions and learning from him. We caught 4 Bass over 5 lbs, biggest being 6.5lbs...and my dad had the surprise catch of a lifetime...a 6ft. Gator (they love bobbers!) Aside from the great fishing, Cpt. Excellent Guide It was a cool wet day with Scott on Rodman. He did a great job keeping us in fresh bait and searching for fish. Being capable of good conversation is vital on days like this Scott had plenty of info on the history and makeup of Rodman. Capt Scott England is a full-time fishing guide that is an avid outdoorsman. Captain Scott was born in West Virginia and relocated to North Florida at the age of 10.
Began fishing local waters and fell in love with Rodman Reservoir and the Ocklawaha river for their quality fish and beautiful surroundings. After retiring and obtaining my captain’s license, he decided to share my passion for fishing with others and my knowledge of Rodman reservoir.
Living 1 mile from the Rodman boat ramp with a live well stocked with plenty of shiners on hand. The process to make your fishing experience amazing could not be easier.
