Camp Mack Fishing
Lake Kissimmee is a large but quiet lake in Central Florida for bass fishing. It is a very productive fishery when it is at its peak. Every year and month the conditions change promoting a true fishing adventure. Come enjoy a Camp Mack Fishing Trip next time visiting Kissimmee.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Brian, his son, and his nephew. They came out fishing on Lake Kissimmee this season on a two boat fishing adventure. Camp Mack was the place they wanted to experience the most while camping in Kissimmee State Park.
Our fishing adventure with Captain John Leech led us up into the Kissimmee River. Conditions were nice with no winds and clear skies. It made the bite difficult but made for a beautiful day out on the lake. The bite started later in the day.
We did not find the giant we were hoping for traveling and fishing Lake Kissimmee. We did however catch over 25 largemouth bass for both boats. They were happy just to be able to see the wildlife and adventure out on the lake.
It was great fishing with Brian and his family. I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. Don’t miss out on what this beautiful place can offer you.
