Here is your Central Florida Fishing Update with Captain Steve Niemoeller:
Captain Steve had the pleasure of fishing with Eric and his friend Dick. Eric is from Orlando, FL and Dick was traveling from Chattanooga, Tennessee spending some time on vacation and visiting family in Central Florida. While they were here, bass fishing was a must. Captain Steve took them on an adventure on the Conway Chain of Lakes in Orlando, FL.
Eric and Dick never fished with wild-caught live shiners. They were in-store for great action after picking away and finding several fish. The bass were stacked up on a hump. Captain Steve guided them on how to maximize their bite on shiners. When you have deeper water structure, you have to worm fish the live bait. If you do this, you can land great numbers of bass.
Eric and Dick caught 30 largemouth bass and had a blast. Next time, they want to come to experience Lake Toho Bass Fishing in Kissimmee, FL. They will be back soon for more of this incredible action and Captain Steve is looking forward to getting them on more Florida largemouth bass.
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Steve was back on the water. This time he had the pleasure of fishing with Ernest and Jackie. They were family members traveling from Kentucky looking to explore Florida Bass Fishing. While visiting Kissimmee, FL, they adventured out on Lake Toho. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was fantastic on this fishing trip with wild caught live shiners.
A great part about bass fishing is that you can have a competition. It went back and forth on who can catch the biggest and most bass. Ernest and Jackie caught 25 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. It was a great afternoon of fishing for these gentlemen. They are looking forward to getting back on the water with Captain Steve in the near future!
Captain Steve adventured out on his last trip for this update on the Butler Chain of Lakes. He had the pleasure of fishing with Chris and his son Chris Jr. This father-son duo traveled to Florida for business but had to spend some time on the water. Captain Steve got them around excellent fishing with these repeat clients of Bass Online. The action was strong for them on artificial baits and live shiners.
They will be back for more action in the near future. Most of the bass were in the 1-3 pound range with over 15 bass in the boat. Captain Steve is looking forward to another fishing adventure.

Several destinations in Central Florida are known for incredible bass fishing. Lake Conway is no exception. Fishing is exceptional most of the year and you really can enjoy catching bass on this lake. Come visit Orlando and experience a Lake Conway Fishing Trip next time visiting!
I had the pleasure of fishing with Rick and his buddies. They were traveling to Central Florida for the bass fishing. They knew that Orlando was a key location to catching some great fish.
When fishing here in Florida, live bait is always the way to go. You can catch much larger fish along with large numbers. Rick and his buddies used 7 dozen shiners in their 4 hour trip. You cannot beat the action here on Lake Conway when it starts to produce like this.
They caught over 50 bass weighing up to 3 pounds. We could not find the giant they were hoping for but that is fishing. When this happens, it provides ample opportunity to come on back and search for it. There are many lakes in Florida that you can come across a trophy largemouth bass.
We had a great day on the water. I am looking forward to fishing with Rick and his buddies again in the future. Don’t miss out on your outdoor fishing adventure!

Just finishing up and leaving the Conway Chain of Lakes here in Orlando Florida. Its located in Orange County and just South of downtown Orlando. For the last two days I had the pleasure of fishing with Dennis O’Neil from Texas.
The first day we were trying to stay warm mainly, this was the first day of that major cold that just sent havoc across the rest of the country. The conditions went from rainy in the 70’s to the high 40’s and it was progressively getting colder as the front push down on us. Its tough weather even if you’re not fishing, the winds were 15 to 25mph but we prevailed and caught (17) seventeen bass that day. We focused mainly on deep-water about 15′ to 16′, near offshore grass ledges. We used mainly Armed Assassin Rigs from Bass Assassin also called A-Rigs, our baits of choice were Crappie Dappers and Curly Shad both made by Bass Assassin lures in Shad colors.
On the second day of our two-day trip with Dennis it was another though day of dealing with weather. At 6:30am we started fishing at 38 degrees, what a way to start the day. But it did progressively get warmer in the low 50’s by day end. The wind still blow, just less at 10 to 15 mph out of the NW.
Even with the days conditions the bite wasn’t that bad, it was definitely quantity over quality but I will take that in these times. The average fish today was between 12″ and 16″, even with live-bait the big girls just did not want to play. With all the weather it was still a blast all bundled up in our gear, cutting jokes and laughing…what’s better then being on the water, even in these conditions! End result was about the same as the day before, but we did mix up the fishing a bit by throwing live shiners out deep on a free lines as well as using again the A-Rig and big worms.
I look forward to seeing Dennis and all you guys soon. The fishing is only going to get better and its only going to keep getting colder up north. So, book your trip or get a gift certificate for the holidays…lets go fishing!
Come see us and until then, Capt Tony saying fish on!

His passion for the sport began at an early age, about 2 yrs old. His dad and grandfather would take him fishing to many of the lakes here in Central Florida and much of the inter coastal waterways on the east coast of Florida. Having fished National level tournaments from South Carolina, to Alabama, and throughout Florida, he has given him the ability to adapted to the changing weather patterns and the many lakes around Central Florida. We had a fantastic day, we caught 27 in 4 hours including 2 – 7 pounders and a 9 pounder. They will definitely be repeat clients for bass online. We did break off a GIANT bass right at the boat that ousted the 9 pounder she got close to the boat and bolted but Tony redeemed himself with the 9 pounder he caught on the last cast.

This week is starting out with Randy Coomer form Illinois on great day on Conway Chain of Lakes. The Coomer caught over 100 largemouth bass, big fish over 6lbs and couple of 5lbs.
Way to go Coomer’s looking forward to fishing with you again.
The Altavilla family from New York came in too warm up in sunny south Florida for couple of days. It was cold by Florida standards, but the fishing was grand.
Hello everybody, this is captain Kip,
I fished with Sal Altavilla and his son Bennett on the private lakes for two days and the Conway Chain one day.
The weather was rainy the first day and overcast and cold the second. The third day we had clear blue skies and it was cold. We caught 20 fish the first day up to 6 1/2 lbs. The last day we caught the biggest fish which weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. Sal and Bennett had a great trip even with the not so good weather conditions. Bennet caught the biggest fish of his life and he was thrilled. All fish were caught on livebait and everyone is looking forward to coming back next year. “Make sure you bring the warm weather with you, not the New York weather!”
