Helped me find the perfect charter I found this website via Google, and it provided me with a great deal of information and allowed me to book a charter that suited my needs with Captain Bill Goudy Jr. who provided me with a fantastic 3 hour fishing experience, which included me catching a Trophy Bass weighing 8 pound 5 3/8 ounces that totally made my day.
I definitely recommend both Bassonline and Captain Bill.

Catching 2025 I’m curious as to what the catching experience has been for 2025. This year I have been fishing 6 or 7 times both from the shore and on sing a boat. I always go with my friend and we have basically caught nothing. What the heck?

Not Bad I’ve caught numerous mid sized bass here in the heat of summer. Yes, it’s very grassy but if you have the right lures it’s fine. The county sends a weed harvester through all the time to clean things up. Like any lake you need to know depths and water conditions to be successful.

Capt. John Miller What can I say, What a night!!!!!! That was the best time I have ever had fishing for Wayeye. The smallest was 17" And the largest was 30" His knowledge of fishing for waleye was perfect. I will be back next year for this great experience again. The weather and the lake were perfect. Perfect Day on the Water First time fishing for Peacocks. Bobby was awesome. His knowledge of the fishing spots and fish behaviors is on point. Getting hits in the first 5 minutes at our first stop. Lake Erie - Mark Rose When I was looking for a great Christmas gift for my family full of bass fisherman, I started researching smallmouth fishing on Lake Erie. The first guide I called was primarily a walleye fishing guide and he said if you are looking to get into the smallmouth, Captain Mark Rose is your guy, and boy was he right! I booked the trip in December for the third week in May for 3 days when Mark told me was a good time to hit Lake Erie for smallmouth. When we met Mark, we immediately felt we had the right guy for our fishing experience. He knew exactly where to go and we literally started catching fish on the first cast. Mark has the right size boat and the best equipment available for success. Despite the terrible weather (wind, rain, cold) we caught 60 to 70 smallmouth the first day. It was a blast! Over the 3 days, we landed upwards to 130 smallmouth. We all easily crushed our personal bests with upper 4 pound to over 5 pound smallmouth. My 14 year old son caught three 5 pounders the first day! We were also able to check a “northern fishing trip” off my dad’s bucket list. We thank Captain Mark Rose and BassOnline not only for great customer service but for a great customer experience! Catchin Bass guide service Bill Goudy Jr is an easy going guide that wants you to catch fish. He takes me out with shiners for relaxing catching. Then we though me how to throw a chatter bait and we caught another 20 with another giant lost in the drill. He put us on 30 plus fish to 8 and a half pounds. Highly recommend and going with Captain Bill, he's the most knowledge guide on Headwaters Lake.

2025 Lake trip My friend Mark and I had another great couple days fishing with Captain Mark. Mark knows exactly what what the fish are doing and the tactics to catch them. We have several bass within the first 15 minutes and I couldn’t even be more impressed! I also loved that he communicated with our 2nd boat captain on what we were doing and what decisions we made. He was pretty cut and dry but if you know Florida people then you know that is standard lol. Don’t use it against him because I promise he will get you bass!

Unbelievable fishing trip! The action started early and didn’t let up. Our captain knew all the honey holes and kept the mood light with great conversation and fishing tips. Great Bass Fishing Captain Dawson Wisner is a great guide. He put my wife, son, and I on some big bass, taught us how to fish for them on Okeechobee in the vegetation, and was patient with us when we got hung up or got distracted by the gators. I would definitely recommend him for your next guide.

Bass galore I am new to bass fishing, we live just down the street from the lake. My daughter and I go out in a small john boat 2-3 times a week for an hour or so. A slow day is 1 fish each. Often we land 3 or 4 good sized bass at sunset. Lots of fun.

Great Fishing Experience Me and a high school buddy of mine booked a two-day 6 hours each day cruise with Captain Justin April 1 & 2. We were both very happy with his personal service and his modern and well-maintained fishing equipment. On the first day he took us to a place where the bass fishing was exceptional. I'm guessing we caught somewhere between 30-40 bass - the biggest being a 24-inch 7 1/2-pound lunker. On the second day the winds were blowing too hard to go out on the open lake, but he took us to a sheltered place where the fishing was almost as good as the previous day. I want to say that I am a handicapped person with serious sciolous in my lower back. Captain Justin went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and safe while travelling, boarding and exiting the boat. Captain Justin is personable and professional guide, and I would highly recommend you trust him to make your fishing date on Lake Okeechobee a memorable one.

Capt. Mike was outstanding! He made sure we were in the right spots at the right times, and we had an amazing time reeling in some impressive catches. His professionalism and knowledge really stood out, and he kept the energy high throughout the trip. The boat was well-equipped, and everything went smoothly. Took my 20 and 17 year old daughter and son out with Capt Steve. We wanted to fish artificial only, and he was very accommodating. Didn't get my double digit but he tried his butt off to get us on some fish using artificial only. Thanks Capt Steve. Would definitely recommend!!!!!

Mark Rose Did a afternoon trip with Mark Rose today, we got right on the fish, caught 20+ in a short afternoon session, had a chance at something huge, but missed it. It was a great time, and I learned a lot. Mark is a very patient Charter Captain, and the boat is very comfortable. All in all it was a great experience that I can't wait to repeat.

Captain Mark Shepard Caption Shepard worked hard on a very windy day and a bad moon and still put us on quality fish, caught some real nice fish in the 5-7 pound range in some poor conditions. Will definitely use Mark again under better conditions. Appreciate it Captain!

He taught us to fish a fluke on straight braid in the sawgrass. It was really fun yanking bass out of the grass. We had an awesome time throwing flukes in the grass.

Personal Best We came and accomplished what we came to do. Repeat customer and once again Captain Steve crushed it. The man knows his stuff and is a pleasure to fish with. Low key and steady, well until I hooked into my 9# 5oz monster. He was just as excited as I was. We boated many 3-6 pound bass, action throughout the day. Between last year and this we boated 82 fish. See ya next year Steve.

Great Trip Went out with Capt Steve on friday 2/28/25. Took my 86 year old father and brother. What a great time. 15 minutes in and my dad hooked into a 7lb large mouth. Steve was very patient, knowledgeable, friendly and we had the best 4 hours. Caught plenty of fish and had some laughs along the way. I will definitely be back for another trip.

Awesome guide We fished Headwaters Lake with Capt. Bill on February 22, 2025. I have fished Florida lakes for over 50 years and have never caught as many big bass as we did with Captain Bill. Awesome experience. We will be back.

Awesome my first time at Lake Okeechobee and I had Jonathan and he was absolutely point on professional personable a lot of fun and put me on fish which was the main goal. Captain Dawson took us out on Headwaters Lake and did not disappoint! He put us on a lot of fish and BIG fish. He is very knowledgeable and just a great guy. February 5, 2025 - Family Fishing Our family joined Mark on Lake Okeechobee this February 2025. Mark was amazing! He kept in touch with my husband as our fishing date approached to determine the best fishing spot for our visit. He was very knowledgeable of the area and very friendly to us and our three boys. His boat was so clean, his passion for the sport, and respect for nature shined through with each minute we were on his boat. We latched on to our first bass within 30 seconds of the first line hitting the water. All 5 of us were able to catch bass on our trip. Mark took and shared pictures with us as well. We are so grateful to have gotten to work with Mark and are excited to go again with him in the future! Thanks, Mark!

Mark took me and my buddy Bobby out today on lake Okechobee. Unbelievable trip, he put us on fish immediately, kept us on them for 8 hours. I caught my pb 8.1 lbs then caught a 6.4 lber as well. Very knowledgeable and great captain. We will definitely be back again.
