Most importantly, Brian wanted to catch some bass flipping the heavy mats. Consequently we took our time fishing and caught some quality largemouth bass throughout our trip.

Water levels were low on this fishing charter. Therefore the bass were in more condense locations under heavy mats and structure. As a result, Captain Steve had to make a change for the second day and take him over to Kenansville Lake. Kenansville had the power to bring in some big bass this time of year because of the amazing grass structure.

Consequently the change in location landed them one of the best days on the water. The first hour was slow. It took some time for the bass to get going but once they did it was on.
