Lake Okeechobee Florida Fishing Crappie Charter

Lake Okeechobee Florida Fishing Crappie Charter

Florida Fishing Crappie Charter

Hey, everybody, it’s Captain Brian here with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

Lake Okeechobee offers also some of the best crappie-speck fishing in the state of Florida. Delmar and Cathy were out with me this afternoon for a Florida Fishing Crappie Charter. This afternoon was practice for tomorrows trip.

The north end of Lake Okeechobee has been holding some quality crappie. Putting 21 really nice ones in the boat, they were ready for what the next charter was going to bring.

Afternoon conditions allowed us to drift through the grass slowly with the wind blowing just right.

The second charter brought similar success. We put numbers in the boat with many fish on. Some did not get to the boat but that is okay, we will catch them next time.

Using the Power Poles when necessary, we picked away at them all day. It truly was a great morning and I would advise coming down while the bite is still hot.

Pan Fish are great eating and are a clean fish. If you haven’t fish or tried them and want to, Come Visit Florida and Catch Yours Today!!

Crappie Florida Fishing

Hey, everybody, it’s Captain Brian here with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

Three generations came out crappie fishing today. I had the pleasure to fish with Lenny, his son Kevin and his son, Kyle. We had a really good time catching lot of crappie on Lake Okeechobee.

They are traveling from Ohio and have never fished crappie like we do down here. We use long rods and braid, picking them out of thick cover.

Crappie Florida Fishing has been really good. We slammed them, putting back 25 to 30 fish. Some were thrown back but the rest were taken home to fry up. Pan fish are a delicious species of fish.

Florida Fishing Lake Okeechobee has been a blast for all the species it holds.

Come Catch Yours Today!!

Weather was great today

This is Captain Steve Niemoeller with your Friday April 10th, 2015 fishing report for Lake Toho.

I guided Ken and his brother-in-law Bob from Central Florida out in Lake Toho on an 8-hour trip. Weather was great today, started a little warmer than what it usually gets this time of the year…it was pretty nice though! We started throwing shiners and had a little bit of success for most of the day, we caught 8-10 bass on the 5-pound range. The last hour, we decided to go anchor fishing. We pulled up, anchored and caught them on the lines…we caught another 7-8 fish doing that. Nothing really big, 3-4 pounds. We had originally scheduled a crappie trip… but crappies have not been biting lately, we decided to go bass fishing instead. I recommend to go to St.Johns if you want to go crappie fishing.

This was Captain Steve, go to BassOnline.com for your fresh and salt water fishing trips.

Thank you

Parramores Fishing Camp and Campground on the St Johns River

Hi, this is Captain Steve with a fishing report from the St Johns River.

I guided Phillip and Becky from North Carolina on a Crappie fishing trip. I started the day by picking them up at Parramores Fishing Camp and Campground on the St Johns River. We ran down to Lake Dexter to fish, after we got set up and started catching a few Crappie then Becky mentioned she wanted to see a manatee. While I was thinking of where I could take her to see one, we noticed about twenty to thirty yards from the boat one was swimming and watching us, we eased over and got a couple of good pictures for Becky. She also wanted to see a few Alligators as it was her first time down to Florida, so off we went on a nice site seeing tour…I like a plan that comes together, whether it by mistake or not..lol.

They told me at the end of the trip, they had a great time catching fish, wildlife watching and seeing all the great scenery here in Florida.

Till next time, get a tight line,
Capt Steve Niemoeller
