Catching a Surprise Florida Fishing Species on Bucket List Trip

Catching a Surprise Florida Fishing Species on Bucket List Trip

Surprise Florida Fishing Species

Many outdoor experiences can happen when traveling to South Florida. There is nothing like catching a surprise Florida fishing species on a bucket list trip.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Bill Copper who is traveling from Pennsylvania. He was looking to knock peacock bass off his bucket list.

The bite to start off was slow. One of the key things about fishing in Palm Beach and Lake Ida is the ability to move around and find the fish.

Bill achieved his goal on his bucket list and caught the peacock bass he was looking for. He caught both species of bass while he was down here. Bill also caught a surprise, the elusive exotic Clown Knife Fish.

We had a great day on the water and he is looking forward to coming back soon. I can’t wait for him to come back and help him create more memories, one fish at a time!

South Florida Slam Fest

South Florida Slam Fest

South Florida Slam Fest

Storms can do two things to Florida Fishing, shut it down or turn it on. Well on this South Florida Slam Fest, things got interesting.

Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Ben, Mike and Cooter traveling from Arkansas. They were excited to get into some of the best South Florida Fishing action on the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes.

Here in South Florida, the weather conditions can change quite often. We were able to make it happen and they had a fantastic time out there on the water.

Ben, Mike and Cooter put over 30 fish in the boat. They had a slam fest catching peacock bass, largemouth bass and clown knife fish. You do not see those kinds of days on the water all the time.

A trip like this has them fueled up for more Florida Fishing action. Lake Okeechobee is on their list next. I look forward to creating more memories, one fish at a time with them!

Exciting Exotic Fishing Charter

South Florida is a great place to experience fishing at its finest. You can sit back and enjoy an Exciting Exotic Fishing Charter that will leave you wanting more.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Andrew, Mike and Joe traveling from the North to experience what Florida Fishing was all about.

Andrew, Mike and Joe are all in business up north in the metro area. They were looking for a relaxing fishing trip on Lake Ida.
Lake Ida was experiencing perfect conditions with beautiful skies overhead. We were on a short 4 hour trip and caught a variety of species of fish.

They caught several peacock bass weighing up to 3 pounds. They also caught largemouth bass weighing up to 3 pounds as well. The exotics came out to play on this trip with two clown knife fish in the boat.

It was an exciting fishing trip and I know they are excited for more action to come in the future. The summertime conditions rolled in and it got warm toward the end of our trip.

Come Catch Yours Today with Captain Robert Miley on beautiful Lake Ida.

Lake Osborne Exotic Bass Fishing

Lake Osborne Exotic Bass Fishing

Lake Osborne Exotic Bass Fishing

Peacock Bass are an exotic species of bass that was introduced to South Florida. They have thrived here along with other exotic fish. Lake Osborne Exotic Bass Fishing has been exciting this season.

Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Calvin and Tom. This was their first ever peacock bass fishing trip.

We had a blast and caught them up. They were surprised at how hard the peacock bass fight.

They were also surprised at a guest appearance of a Clown Knife Fish. Calvin and Tom caught right around 20 peacock bass with the best right around 3 pounds.

I am looking forward to fishing with them again while creating memories one fish at a time.

South Florida Fishing Clown Knife Fish- Palm Beach

South Florida Fishing Clown Knife Fish- Palm Beach

Florida Fishing Clown Knife Fish

Hello this is Capt Robert Miley here with your fishing report for Lake Ida.

Today, I had the opportunity to do some Florida Fishing Clown Knife Fish with Jack Lee and his son John. Traveling from Portland, Oregon they wanted to see what Palm Beach Florida Fishing had to offer.

The fishing conditions were beautiful with the water temperature at 75 degrees. It was about 68 in the morning and ended up warming up to 85.

Fishing was exciting this morning. The peacock bass were biting steady and we also caught a Clown Knife Fish. It weighed roughly 10 pounds. You do not catch those everyday. The peacock bass we caught were mostly in the 3-4 pound range, catching a nice one weighing 5 pounds.

We had a fantastic day on the water. The fishing has been really good and is only getting better. We hope to see you on the water soon.

Come down to Visit Miami and Catch Yours Today!
