A grand opening party on July 26 at Bull Creeks Kids Fishing 2014 Camp, starting with a kids fishing tournament from 10 a.m. to noon.
“We are excited about showcasing our remodeling and restaurant and, of course, our food to everyone,” Chris Zwirn, one of the owners of the new restaurant, said in a media release. “We have received great feedback on our menu from our diners so far, and we really appreciate everyone that’s come out.”
The grand opening celebration is scheduled to kick off with a kids fishing tournament from 10 a.m. to noon, led by Capt. Steve Niemoeller from CFLFishing.com, Fresh and Salt water Charters, and Steel Shad fishing lures. Prizes will be awarded in three age categories: 5 and under, 6-10 and 11-16 years old. Participants can preregister at Bull Creek or email Cindy@wnzf.com.
Capt. Terry Turner, host of the “The Southern Sportsman” radio show on WNZF 92.7 FM, will be broadcasting live from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. He will be talking about the fishing tournament, as well as assisting with the fishing tournament after the show.
DJ Adam also will be on site from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with bounce houses, face painting, a trackless train, and a waterslide, according to the release. Kids are encouraged to bring swim suits and beach towels.
The open house will continue into the night with duo Tammy and Chris performing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
