Harris Chain Artificial Fishing Adventure

Harris Chain Artificial Fishing Adventure

Florida Fishing on your birthday is one of the best presents you can receive. Big bass can be caught this time of year on your Harris Chain Artificial Fishing Adventure.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Gordon and his stepson David. Gordon was traveling from Key West and David was from Washington. It was Gordon’s sixtieth birthday and his wife got him the best gift possible.

While on vacation, they wanted to explore what Orlando had to offer. The Harris Chain of Lakes blessed them with a great day out on the water.

They caught a number of largemouth bass with both artificial baits and wild-caught live shiners. David caught a 5 pound 2-ounce bass on a spinnerbait and Gordon caught a 5 pound 7 ounce on a shiner.

Most of the fish came from flipping a worm but they also caught them on a bass assassin boss shiner. Dragging it over the Kissimmee grass was the most effective method for the swimbait. The tap out also worked very well, which is a slick worm.

I look forward to fishing with these gentlemen again and made a good friend on this trip.
