Captain Steve Spatafora grew up in Orlando making him one of the few Florida fishing native guides. He is a Licensed Captain who has fished his entire life in Orlando for many freshwater species including crappie, largemouth, and peacock bass. Some of his favorite fishing holes include Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, Harris Chain of Lakes, St. John’s River, and several other area lakes.

His new favorite is Florida’s newest fishery called Headwaters lake. His lifelong pursuit of trophy largemouth bass makes for an exciting, educational, and safe time on the water for everyone. Captain Steve will always be positive, professional, and patient with both beginners and seasoned anglers. He will do everything he can to make sure his customers are having a great time!

He accommodates half-day, three-quarter-day, and full-day trips for your convenience. All trips include quality tackle (right and left-handed), artificial baits, all necessary safety equipment, cold soft drinks, and water. Feel free to bring your own tackle and equipment if you prefer. Captain Steve will work hard to get you a beautiful trophy largemouth bass on any one of the surrounding Central Florida bass fisheries.

Capt Steve Spatafora preferred style of fishing for largemouth bass here in Orlando Florida is with live bait. It is the most successful method to land trophy-size largemouth bass all trip long. Every month of the year, you can utilize this bait to help land fish. Also, it is perfect for anglers of all ages to get addicted to the action.

Additionally, I love to catch bass with artificial baits. Artificial bait can be a fun way to bring fish to the boat. I can educate clients and anglers on how to use some of the best lures to catch bass all across the United States.

I have taken out my wife, my friends, and my father and he has been very accommodating to all! It was not an easy fishing day, being in south Florida during a cold front, but we made it happen with 23 boated fish, including multiple 3-4 pounders and a 7lb8oz hog of a largemouth. Nothing but the highest recommendations for Capt. Steve and the time you will have when you book with him!

						Sunset Perfect Our journey began going 65 mph to a beautiful location. We caught 4 bass one pike. At the end we did not realize we could not keep our catch fir dinner as family awaits for dinner. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke but a cigar… I did not say anything as a woman should just be quiet right? Otherwise we are jus bitchy. And it was my father’s birthday. At least he caught some fish. This fishing guid is only to show off his boat and smoke his cigar, I’m sure my $60,00 tip was cheap considering the bait was $50.00 wow!!! Absolutely beautiful sunset. Well worth the time with my Dad. Happy birthday dad

						Toho Trip Steve was an excellent guide. He put us on fish even with the cold water temps. He was also great with my 9 yo son. We plan to come back in March/April when Steve says the bass will be on fire!
