Artificial Lures, Senko style Baits and Wacky Rigged

Hi there, this is Captain Brett Isackson doing your daily fish report for Bass Online.

Today, I had a long-time repeat customer Steve Triplet out with his buddies. We went for a (6) six-hour day out in the Everglades. Let me tell you something, we had an awesome day out here. We caught over (15) fifteen Peacock bass and over (20) twenty large-bass between (3) three and (5) five pounds, it was surprising to find the Peacocks out here so thick.

A lot of stuff we did was on artificial lures, Senko style baits, and Wacky rigged worked down deep on a flipper head Shaky head weight. Working them down on the secondary ledge to catch some of these fish. The peacock bass were all caught off top-water lure and jerk-bait we were swimming.

What an awesome time we had out with Steve triplet and his friends, looking forward to seeing them next year!
Tight lines, Captain Brett Isackson
