Here is your Central Florida Bass Fishing Update:
Captain Brent Nelson had the pleasure of fishing with Dan, who was traveling from Virginia in search for some Florida largemouth bass. Dan is an avid fisherman that wanted to throw artificial baits as well as live bait. It was a great day on the water out on Johns Lake in Central Florida. This lake has been producing and will continue to produce all summer long.
Dan caught over 30 largemouth bass on this fishing charter. The biggest bass weighed in at 6 pounds. The main structure on this fishing trip was submerged hydrilla. Grass like this will always hold fish. The wild-caught shiners brought in most of the fish over the hydrilla. Artificial baits including flukes and senkos caught bass around sticks and trees.
Dan had a great time fishing on Johns Lake. Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Dan again in the near future!
It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain John Leech was exploring Lake Jackson. If you are looking for some bigger numbers of largemouth bass in Central Florida, this has been a hot spot. Captain John had the pleasure of fishing with Jim and Eric looking for a good time in Central Florida. They sure got it while Florida bass fishing with Captain John.
Jim and Eric wanted to use live bait on this fishing trip as it is the most effective bait to catch largemouth bass. They ran out of bait pretty quickly landing over 60 largemouth bass. Many of the fish were in the 4-5 pound range. The biggest fish weighed in at 6 pounds.
Jim and Eric had a fantastic time on the water. Captain John is looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again soon!
It was not long until Captain Brent was back out fishing. He had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and his son. They were traveling to Central Florida on vacation and wanted to capitalize on some fun in the sun. Bass fishing was a great option for them. Dave and his son only wanted to throw artificial baits on their fishing trip.
Captain Brent made it happen for them and they caught over 15 largemouth on their short trip on the water. A variety of baits were used to catch the bass including shaky heads, sencos, flukes, and carolina rigs. Whether you want to catch bass on artificial baits or live bait, we can make it happen for you.
