Captain Brent Nelson had the pleasure of fishing with Greg and his three sons. They were traveling to Florida on vacation and need a nice outdoor break. Lake Toho was only a short distance away and they decided to embark on a fishing adventure. It was an afternoon trip filled with a lot of action and some BIG Florida bass in Kissimmee, FL.
The most successful method of fishing was with wild-caught live shiners. When you are looking for numbers of quality bass, this is the way to go. Most of the fish were caught over submerged hydrilla lines. The structure is also important when looking for big bass. Greg and his three sons caught 2 largemouth bass in the 7-pound class which made for two new personal bests.
