Weekend Orlando Bass Fishing
When you are visiting Central Florida, getting in the outdoors is a must. Weekend Orlando Bass Fishing can really add flavor to your vacation. Florida Largemouth Bass Fishing is highly productive all year round and can provide a great experience. Every trip brings a unique view of Florida that you may not have been able to get to enjoy if you did not embark on a Florida Fishing adventure.
Captain Steve Niemoeller is one of our local and trusted experts for bass fishing in Central Florida. The Butler Chain of Lakes is one that he knows all too well. These summer months have been incredible for fishing this clear lake. One of the best parts is the scenery and gorgeous homes you get to fish behind.
Dan and his son Jacob were coming to Orlando to come fish for largemouth bass. They have been fishing with Captain Steve for over 5 years. The St. Johns River is their normal bass fishing destination but it has not been as productive as the Butler Chain this year. We try our best to put every client on good fish when they come bass fishing with us.
When you fish the Butler Chain of Lakes, you focus on the deep water structures. They were fishing in 14-20 foot of water. Live bait will also be the most productive bait to use. All you have to do is troll it along the grass structures in the deeper holes. Before you know it, you will be out of bait.
Dan and Jacob caught over 40 bass on this fishing charter. It was a quick trip and was pleased by the great numbers of fish this time of year. Jacob caught a bass weighing in between the 4-5 pound range. This was their annual fishing adventure and will be back for more action next year.
Captain Steve will be looking forward to their next adventure in Central Florida or on the St Johns River!
Shortly after this fishing adventure, Captain Steve went out on another one. Mark and Brittany just moved to Debary, Florida from Seattle, Washington. They wanted to get on some Florida Largemouth Bass to learn more about the fish. Captain Steve was the perfect guide to do it with. Also, there was no better way for Brittany to spend a birthday gift than being on the water and setting the hook.
The Butler Chain of Lakes blessed them with a great fishing trip using artificial and live bait. Steel shad top water baits put in some work on schooling bass. It was non-stop action with over 20 bass in the boat on their quick 4 hour fishing trip. They had a great time on the water and are looking forward to the next fishing trip.
Captain Steve will also be looking forward to helping them out with any questions and new techniques they would like to learn.
Summer is a great time to get out on the Butler Chain of Lakes. Florida Bass school up and are really fun to catch back to back. If you are looking for some fun times and great fishing while visiting Central Florida, this is the outdoor activity you should partake in. We look forward to seeing you on the water next time in the Greater Orlando region.
