Clean Water Fishing
Conditions on Lake Okeechobee have been getting increasingly better as the months roar on. Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing here in Florida has been excellent with either live bait or artificial baits. Sit back and enjoy some Clean Water Fishing next time visiting.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Jason, Zack and Luke traveling from Alabama. They wanted to fish the north end of Lake Okeechobee out of Harney Pond on their first day of fishing. They came out two days t explore different waters.
Our first trip was great while they were catching bass on flukes, senkos and top water baits. These gentlemen caught 35 fish and were excited to explore a different part of the lake. The next stop was the south end out of South Bay.
South Bay held cleaner water that we were able to capitalize on. Jason, Zack and Luke continued to fish for bass using artificial baits but also included some wild caught live shiners. We started off the day with those catching 25 bass.
After the shiners were all used up, they switched to flukes and senkos and caught even more bass. A total of 40 bass were caught on this trip.
We had an excellent time catching these bass and I am looking forward to fishing with them again next year. Don’t miss out on this action here in Florida on Lake Okeechobee!
