South Bay Largemouth Bass

People across the whole the globe come to Florida every year to fish for largemouth bass. One of the many reasons for this is that it has an excellent ecosystem for the bass to grow. Also, you can have the opportunity to catch a trophy bass everyone talks about. Come on down, over or wherever and experience South Bay Largemouth Bass!

I had the pleasure to fish with Mark and Berry. They were traveling from Ohio to get away from the cold and explore Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing. The south end of the lake was where we put our focus on this fishing trip.

We adventured out on the water with 7 dozen shiners. It was a pretty good day of fishing as we went through all our bait. Mark and Berry caught over 50 largemouth bass with the biggest weighing 5.5 pounds.

Our fishing trip was a success especially for being their first time on Lake Okeechobee. They were excited about the action and even more excited to plan their next trip on the Lake. I look forward to fishing with them again in the near future.

Don’t miss out on the Florida Bass Fishing action while it is still hot!!
