Phenomenal Fishing Trip
Lake Toho in Kissimmee, Florida is one of the best Central Florida Lakes. When visiting Central Florida, don’t miss out on a Phenomenal Fishing Trip that any age or loved one can partake in. Bass Fishing Season is here and it’s only getting started.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Jerry traveling from Iowa. He has been coming to Florida for years but never really experienced what Florida Bass Fishing has to offer. Jerry loves to race motorcycles in Daytona.
His first impression of Florida Bass Fishing was that we were going to be beating the bank, but that is not what we do here. Grass is the most important structure that we focus on when fishing for largemouth bass. Around these grass lines, wild caught live shiners catch the bass the best.
Drag or let your bait swim around the hydrilla beds and hold on for the fight of a lifetime. Our first spot produced 22 largemouth bass. Jerry caught 35 total bass weighing up to 4 pounds.
He had a phenomenal fishing trip and one he will remember for a lifetime. Nothing beats a man that is in his early 70s getting excited like a kid over fishing. It is moments like this that we do what we do as Captains.
The conditions were perfect for fishing with a light breeze and the sun shining. We knew a lot of people from the racing world and I am looking forward to discussing more and sharing memories with him again next time.
