Catching Florida Clown Knife Fish

The Lake Ida Chain of Lakes can provide you with some of the most incredible fishing action you can experience in South Florida. You can’t beat catching Florida Clown Knife Fish on artificial baits.

I had the pleasure to fish with Bill traveling from Chicago. He wanted to explore the waters of Palm Beach County for the elusive exotic species that are present.

We had a really great day out on the water. Bill caught several quality peacock bass along with a nice clown knife fish. You can’t beat catching the variety of species present in the chain. He even caught a few cichlids.

Bill caught all his fish on jerk and spinner baits. These have been successful artificial baits for this time of year. The bass and exotic species love the action and can’t resist but to bite.

Bill is looking forward to his next adventure down in South Florida next time he visits and I am looking forward to putting him on fish of a lifetime. Don’t miss out on this action today and contact Bass Online and we will hook you up!
