Fall Monster Peacock Bass Fishing

Florida Fishing really has not let up this year and big bass have been coming to the boat. Fall Monster Peacock Bass Fishing is a must experience for all those that love the fight of this bass.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Bob Woodward and Tom traveling from Washington with their wives that were on a nursing convention. This was my first trip out after Hurricane Irma on the Miami Falls Canal System.

Florida Fishing conditions held up really well with air temperatures held at 92 degrees. Water temperatures also stayed consistent at 83 degrees.

The water was real low and there was a lot of brush in the canals from the storm. We searched for the clean water we needed and we found it.

Big peacock bass were holding in these waters. Bob and Tom put over 25 quality peacock bass in the boat. A monster peacock bass was caught by Bob weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces. Tom also caught a monster bass weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces. It took Bob 10 minutes to get the big one to the boat.

We had an awesome day on the water with several 3 pound bass in the boat as well. They went on a keys trip and did not have equally or close to a good time as they had with me. It made me feel good to know they had an amazing time on my boat.

It was a great time fishing with these gentlemen and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future.
