Summer Day Peacock Bass Adventure

Summer time does not stop the exotic peacock bass from coming out to play. Florida Fishing this time of year is incredible and we want you to experience a Summer Day Peacock Bass Adventure next time you are visiting.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Steve Adwell and his Father John. Steve is traveling from Virigina to visit his father that works at the Palm Bay Bass Pro Shops.

Above all, they wanted to experience some excellent peacock bass fishing in Miami, Florida. While the Falls Canal System is hot right now, many other fisheries holding peacock bass are producing incredible trips.

As a result of being in Miami in the summer time, it was a hot day. The air temperatures were at like 103 degrees and the water temperatures were at 88. Peacock bass love the warm weather and waters.

The water management sprayed the banks and grass in the system which could have consequently pushed the big peacock bass into deeper waters.

Steve and John caught a lot of quality peacock bass weighing up to 3 pounds. It was a full day of summer time madness.
Furthermore, I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future and hope to catch a monster next time!
