Florida Bass Fishing Birthday Trip

This is Capt Brian Brown with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Susan and her grandson Ty today. We fished out of the west side of Lake Okeechobee toward Harney Pond. This was going to be a Florida Bass Fishing Birthday Trip.

The weather conditions turned out perfect today. It was just a blast of a day.

We caught a lot of fish. Keeping the day fun and exciting, Ty caught largemouth bass, bowfin and some cat fish. His personal best was caught today as well, weighing 5 pounds. He also caught plenty of 3 and 4 pounders as well.

Grandma had no idea what to expect fishing Lake Okeechobee, but for sure had an opinion now. She absolutely loved her time spent on the Lake and can’t wait to come back for more.

Some of the best parts of the lake is the abundant wildlife that lives there. Ty and Susan got to see alligators, birds, and multiple different species of fish. There is no place on earth like it.

Lake Okeechobee is a great family lake and if you ever head down this way and want to go fishing, don’t hesitate, contact BassOnline for a trip of a life-time.
