Rainy Day on Lake Toho Bass Fishing with Capt Steve

This is Capt Steve with the fishing report for Lake Toho.

Today I guided John and his dad Jeff, we had a little bit of a rainy day on Lake Toho that started out the day with a delay. I thought the storm was going to blow through, so we went ahead and went out after it quit raining and ended up catching 4 or 5 fish.

Then it started raining again and the wind started blowing. We fished in the rain pretty much the rest of the 4 hour trip, I guess we ended up with somewhere around 15 largemouth bass.

Today the fish were in the shallows up in the Kissimmee grass, it looks like they’re trying to start bedding. We also caught some under bass under what we call gator mats, big pieces of vegetation that float and the gators lay on to sun bathe.

I was thrilled to catch as many fish as we did, the guys were real pleased. They are down here on business and looks like they’re going to be here for another week or so might they to get one more of their colleagues to come fishing with us again.

This has been Capt Steve, for everyone out there you can find your freshwater or saltwater fishing adventures by going to BassOnline.com. Thank you!
