Lake Ida Peacock Bass fishing Report with Capt Robert
Hello this is the Lake Ida Peacock Bass fishing report with Capt Robert, It was a great fishing day, looked pretty slim in the morning. Weather was really calm temperature was 64 degrees and then the wind started picking up about 9:30 10 it got up about 25 miles an hour and then the fish started biting but they were biting really light. I had Kathy, Bella and Ruth fishing with me today, Mr Walker and his son fished with Captain Mike and they had a little hard time in the beginning because of the weather caused the peacocks to second guess themselves they wanted to eat, but they didn't want to eat they were biting really really light and you just barely had to pick up on it and they weren't really crushing the shiners, but we ended up going through about 6 dozen shiners, and I had 8 dozen, and Capt mike ran out and came over to get another dozen from me so an overall in my boat we had probably 15 really nice peacocks and we've released probably that many more smaller ones, and then we had some large mouth bass. I'm going to tell you fishing was really excellent and Mr Cody walker their from Colorado and they run a guide service in the National Park in Colorado, and they were just ecstatic on the kind of service that bassOnline provided today. We put him on some fish all the kids caught fish they were just ecstatic and made me Actually made me feel like a real Captain. I mean which I am a captain, but it made me feel really proud I mean to really put that much effort into it because the young kids had a hard time and mike and I we got them into where they were catching some nice fish and Thats your Lake Ida Peacock Bass fishing report we're heading home now, and everybody have a merry Christmas, and if you would like to get in on some of this fabulous Peacock bass fishing just come on South and Give me a call and Let's go do some fishing For all your freshwater fishing adventures go to bassonline.com This is Capt Robert tight lines until next time.
