Great Bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee
This is Captain Jason Young with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report. We have had our first cold front of the season come through this week. The cold front was accompanied by 20-30 mile per hour winds the last few days. The wind has produced some good waves making fishing the outside possible only if you had your “sea legs”. So most of the week we fished on the inside “protected” weed flats. On this day I fished with Eric and his 3 sons. We spent the day working protected spawning flats. Weed lines in 2-6 feet of water are producing the best. The big fish are beginning to show themselves more regularly now. The lake is defiantly heating up as the temperatures are cooling down. Give us a call at Bass Online and let us show you how great Bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee can be.
Until next time this is Captain Jason Young wishing you “Tight Lines”
