Okeechobee keeps getting better and better

This is Captain Mark Shepard here with your Lake Okeechobee April 12th, 2015 fishing report.

Well folks group trip with Nathan and his friends. Today we mixed it up a little bit, still had Luis on board, Mike and had a new guy named John the first part of the day. We went through 8-dozen shiners before 11 o'clock. Huge numbers! Smoked them! Absolutely incredible, we caught 60-70 fish approximately. We took a little break and ate lunch. We fished what was left of the day with artificial. We had a lot of fun, pretty good numbers with artificial too. Fantastic trip, Okeechobee keeps getting better and better.

My favorite time of the year is coming up! This was Captain Mark Shepard, tight lines!
