Enjoying the beautiful day

This is Captain Steve Niemoeller with the April 2nd, 2015 St. Johns River fishing report.

Today I guided Chuck and Denise out in the St. Johns on an afternoon bass fishing trip. He has never fished before...this trip was a gift for his birthday from his wife. We went out and fished with shiners, threw them around and caught about a dozen bass or so. Chuck said that it was pretty neat, he has never done that before. It was something that he always wanted to do but didn't have the opportunity to. It was more exciting than what he thought it was going to be. We got a lot of bites but there were some fish we didn't get. Most exciting part of the day was pulling out to a spot, putting the anchor down and enjoying the beautiful day and scenario. In the same spot, Chuck caught a 5 and 3 pounder. He was pretty excited about that, didn't think he was able to do it. We are looking forward to see him again next year, take him out and have another adventure.

This is Captain Steve, for all your fresh and salt water adventures give me or BassOnline a call.
