This is Captain Mark Shepard with the second fishing report of the day!
This afternoon I had a 6-hour trip on the south end of Lake Okeechobee. It started out a little slow, hot, sunny...and all of a sudden mother nature just kicked some tail! I took three guys from Michigan out of Clewiston, fantastic guys to hang out with...great fishermen! We saw all kind of stuff today, I mean...one minute it was calm, we got soaked with rain, the rain sopped, wind stopped as well...it was changing all the time. Overall...caught good numbers but it was hard to cast, winds were 40 mph. We found a good school of fish, it was a blast! A lot of fun! What an adventure! Weather was not on our side but we made the best out of what Mother Nature gave us!
This is Captain Mark Shepard...Tight lines everybody!
