South Florida the Best Peacock Bass Fishing

Wednesday, October 12th, 2011

Today onboard with  Phil Monahan from North Dakota. Phil came down to Florida to go fishing for peacock bass. I took him down to one of our Miami location for a six hour day on the water.   We tried some artificial lures with no luck, livebait was the prefered choice that day for Peacocks. Phil  caught 15 peacock bass, up to 3lbs.

Thanks Phil, looking forward to seeing you next year.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

October Peacock Bass Fishing in Miami

Bass Online

I just finished up with James and Clair Tillman from Springfield, Missouri. We had  an awsome day on the water in Miami. The Tillman’s caught 25+ fish and a bunch of other exotics. I warned James that 9 out of 10 time the wife wins with numbers and big fish, well I was right again Clair did just that, and James was a trooper cheering his wife on. It was a blast watching them catch the hard fighting peacock bass.  The Guys have another day with Capt Mark on Lake Okeechobee.

Record Peacock Miami Florida Fishing

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

Bass Online

Yesterday, I took out Danny his wife Nancy and his sister Christine out for a full day of peacock bass fishing in Miami. I have to say it was the best peacock day since this past winter. The trio landed 30+ peacocks and a couple of bonus fish to. A nice snook that was about 10 pounds, after I unhooked the snook I was passing it to Nancy for a picture and it got away before I could snap a pic. I had a blast watching them and all the fish were caught on livebait, except a few.  A new record was set on boat, the smallest peacock ever on a spook.
