Good morning Captain Todd
Just wanted to say thanks for a great fishing weekend. I have wanted to fish for Peacock Bass for several years and putting that first peacock in the net was one very exciting for me. After my best bud Matt saw the pictures, he’s the guy that got me hooked on going peacock fishing, he wants to go too. Can’t wait to do it again.
Best Regards
Mike Heugel
Thanks Mike for fishing with us!
We appreciate your business and look forward to having you onboard with us soon.
Big Smiles for Big Fish!
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Jon & Krista decided on a nice little fishing in South Florida while visiting. So, off they went for a 6 hour trip wanting to catch a combonation of largemouth and peacock bass which South Florida is the only that can be accomplished. After a nice day of fishing, they landed 7 peacocks and 3 largemouth bass.
Of coase, Krista caught the biggest fish! Go Krista….:)

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Today I had the pleasure of doing an afternoon trip with Karl and Brad two brothers which were down for 4 days to have a good time and catch lots of bass. Capt Tony had them out for the first three days, they had such a great time they decided last minute to go out on there final day. Capt Tony had a return customer coming in for a full day and could not accommodate them, the office looked over the schedule and suggested that they try the afternoon bite with me.
They decided to go in the afternoon after when I finish my morning trip. I picked them up at a local hotel, it was quite rainy, I was not sure of how fishing was going to be because of the rain. They were not concerned about the weather, off we went looking for the afternoon bite. I have to admit, I was excited as they were. I really like the late bite, it just seems I always do good and on this trip it was no different.
Not sure if it was the weather, but both managed to catch a couple of nice fish in the four pound range and managed to catch up to 40 fish in a short afternoon. These guys could really fish and we were appreciative to have them!
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Today was a good day, we had a six boat trip go out in the Everglades. Yes, six boats is not a problem at all we have the largest staff of guides in the state. Six boats are really a pleasure, it’s not to big but just right size to provide them with the personal attention they needed.
With the water coming down fast in the Everglades, the fishing has been red hot with excellent numbers of fish being caught. Bigger fish have been hit or miss, but we are still managing to get a few good chance at them during the day. As you can see from the picture above, this group of anglers manged to catch over 400 bass in just 6 hours.
Most of the fish were in the one to three pound range, which typicality happens when the water first comes down. Each day the bigger fish will start biting better, but WOW how can you complain about 400 plus fish!
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Fishing in the South Florida Everglades
Today was a slow day on the water for the Florida Everglades standards, but we managed to make it a really good day of fishing.
Today I had the pleasure of fishing with John Smith from Canada . John was very good at fishing, he was able to work every bait I gave him. As the day went on, we talked about how the fish react to the cold fronts, how it can slow the fish down. John asked me for a certain (top secret) bait that he likes to play around with up north. I said, yes I do have those baits. So I put it on for him and he manged to get this nice 6 pound bass and missed another one around the same size.
It proves once again, a bass is a bass. Whether he lives in Florida or Canada!
John is fishing with us for two more days, so I am sure you haven’t seen the last of his pictures or stories.
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
