South Florida Peacock Bass

I recently spent two days with Dan Kobayashi from Illinois.  The first day was a sight seeing tour out in the marsh lands of the Everglades. Dan got a chance to see exotics birds, wild plants and flowers, and Alligators big one, little one and creepy ones. The second day the Miami Peacock bass.  We boated around a dozen fish on half day trip.

We had a blast.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

South Florida the Best Peacock Bass Fishing

Wednesday, October 12th, 2011

Today onboard with  Phil Monahan from North Dakota. Phil came down to Florida to go fishing for peacock bass. I took him down to one of our Miami location for a six hour day on the water.   We tried some artificial lures with no luck, livebait was the prefered choice that day for Peacocks. Phil  caught 15 peacock bass, up to 3lbs.

Thanks Phil, looking forward to seeing you next year.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
