Who’s the Captain on Lake Okeechobee

Thursday, January 12th, 2012

On lake Okeechobee with Ivo &  Gilly from Canada & Israel. These guys have had the chance to see many places in the world and getting to visit Okeechobee is a adventure they won’t forget. The weather was windy and overcast with a chance of rain and can make an awesome trip and that’s just what happened. Allot of folks would not fish in this kind of weather, but these guys only had one day to fish and it was great. I sure enjoyed  getting to meet em they are a lot of fun and looking forward to next time.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

He caught some very nice fish today, started with a little live bait and the rest of the day with artificial.  Rodney used swim baits and did some sight fishing and flipping.  I am looking forward to fishing with him again some time.

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Fishing with Chris Bangs today weather was nice  and  fishing awesome. What a day two big one’s and a bunch of 3 to 5 not to many small ones. I sure enjoyed the day with Chris he loves to hunt and so do I. Chris loves to fish and likes to ice fish, I don’t think I could handle it(the cold),  I would have to be in charge of the heater. Chris big fish were 7lb 3/4 & 6lb bass,  he also caught an ell in the picture above.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
