On March 23, 2010,  I had onboard  the  Schneider Family from Palm Beach these guys caught some really nice bass on half day excursion.  Lake Ida in Delray  is one of many of Florida great Lakes.   If you want a mini get away in Florida, take  the family out fishing for a day, great way to spend time together and make memory’s.

March 15, 2010 bass fishing oeachn Lake Ida with the Cipoletti family.  The fishing start a little slow, but as day continued wepicked up bigger. The pattern changed as it usually does, but the bass were near the hydrilla beds on this day. We caught better fish in the pocket’s of grass bye the end of day, the total added up to about 25 fish.

My dad and I had a great expedition on Monday.  Thanks for your guidance, experise, and good humor.   We enjoyed Lake Ida, and the related neighborhood waterways.  We had a beautiful day it turn out to be.

When I visit my folks again next year I will find time to fish with you again!

 Great thing about Lake Ida is it’s a great fishing location for Peacocks or Largemouth not to mention that the fishery is located conveniently in Palm Beach County.   Anyone not wanting to travel to Lake Okeechobee or Everglades can have a great day fishing at Lake Ida.

December 28, my second fishing trip that day I had Henry Weitzman and buddy out for a half day adventure. They managed to boat a few nice bass, with the biggest bass of day weight-in at 6lbs.

October23, 2009 the  Surette brothers from West Palm Beach and Michigan came fishing for some hard fishing Peacocks Bass.

With the record heat index, we decided on an afternoon trip on Lake Ida fishing for both largemouth bass and peacock bass. The Surette’s caught a few large-mouths along the way, but after catching the first peacock bass they really wanted to focus on them.

What a great decisions they made, as you can see in the photo above the quality of the peacock bass on this day were very good with the largest topping the scales at just over 7lb’s.

We had a great time catching peacocks and largemouths on one of Florida best and most convenient urban fisheries, Lake Ida.
